Actress Sophie Albert revealed that her pregnancy was actually unplanned.

That was why his fiance, Vin Abrenica was beyond speechless when he discovered about the news.

“It was not a planned pregnancy. she shared with PEP.ph

Added her, “If it’s planned, siyempre, mauuna sana ang kasal ano, before kami magkaroon ng baby. But I think, it was meant to happen, kasi sobrang tagal na namin ni Vin.

“And we’re both of age, I’m already 30 years old. So parang I guess, it was the push we needed to take our relationship to another level.

“Kung hindi, we we’re both very career-focused, so we wanted to achieve so much careerwise. Maybe kung hindi nangyari, baka nakalimutan na namin yung family, ganyan.

“So, I guess, it’s meant [to be].”

Recalled Sophie, she was on a videocall with Vin when they found out that she was expecting.

“Noong malaman ko, I was actually in disbelief. Kasi nagbi-video call kami no’n ng best friend ko. Naka-video call iyong pregnancy test, and I was expecting na siyempre, negative.

“So noong nag-positive, nanginginig ang kamay ko. Sa sobrang takot ko, tumatawa na ko, iyong ganoon. Parang hindi mo ma-explain iyong feeling.

“Hindi naman naging negative iyong feeling. It was always positive. Even when I first told my mom, first thing she said was, ‘I’m so happy for you.’

“And she hugged me.”

She also talked about a funny encounter when Vin fell off the chair after hearing something more shocking than her pregnancy.

“At doon sa result ng blood test, sobrang taas ng hCG [Human Chorionic Gonadotropin] level. So the O.B. pa told me, ‘Oh my god, baka twins dahil super taas.’ I was like, oh my god. E, too early pa to do an ultrasound.

“At sinabi ko rin iyon kay Vin na possible na magka-twin. Grabe, para siyang nalaglag sa chair niya. Nagpe-Facetime lang kami, para siyang nalaglag sa chair niya na, ‘Oh my god, not one but two.’

“Pero thankfully, isa lang,”
