Doris Bigornia Na Sikat Na Abs Cbn Broadcaster, Ginulat Ang Publiko Matapos Biglaang Isugod Sa Ospital Dahil sa Heart Attack!

ABS CBN veteran broadcaster and journalist Doris Bigornia was rushed to the internal care unit after suffering from heart attack.

On February 23, Kapamilya broadcaster Alvin Echico announced Bigornia’s situation on Teleradyo, ang SRO.

Echico is Bigornia’s co-host on the show.

Before the start of their show, Echico first asked for a moment of silent to pray and give regards to the 55 year old reporter.

“Bago po tayo mag-umpisa, dahil marami po kasi ang nagtatanong, so nagpaalam po ako sa pamilya ni Mutya ng Masa, Doris Bigornia, na sabihin po sa inyo…

“Pinapasabi lang po, ang Mutya ng Masa, siya po’y inatake sa puso noong Linggo, papuntang Lunes.”

Added Echico, Bigornia is still confined on the hospital and is set to undergo an operation.

“Siya po’y isinugod sa ospital at ngayon po’y nasa ICU. Kakailanganin po ng ano, e, open-heart surgery.”

According to healthline.com, an open-heart surgery is “any type of surgery where the chest is cut open and surgery is performed on the muscles, valves, or arteries of the heart. According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) , coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is the most common type of heart surgery done on adults.”

Echico also asked prayers for the broadcaster, but also revealed that Bigorrnia was conscious and was even able to talk to him for a small conversation.

“Nakakausap ko siya, conscious po si Doris, pero kakailanganin po niya yung open-heart surgery pagkatapos po ng atake sa puso,”

Colleagues and and friends of Bigornia also express their worry for the radio host.

“Ang pamilya po ay humihingi po ng panalangin.

“So, sa ngalan po ng pamilya ni Doris Bigornia, ang Mutya ng Masa, kami po sa DZMM Teleradyo ay humihingi po ng inyong panalangin.

“Ipagdasal po natin na mapagtagumpayan po ni Doris ang susuungin po niyang pagsubok,”
