Is Mark Anthony Fernandez planning on getting back together with his former girlfriend Claudine Barretto?

IT has been years since Mark Anthony Fernandez last appeared on television. It took more than a year before he got another acting stint. Currently, Mark Anthony Fernandez is starring in the new Vivamax film called Deception.

Do you know what’s even more amazing? Despite not getting an acting stint for more than a decade, it’s impressive that Mark Anthony Fernandez’s acting skill didn’t even become rusty.

“All through the years, I feel I’m just a little older and with more input. The older the leather the better. As wine ages, the better. So parang ganun. Life is the best teacher so feeling ko through prayers, yung mga input na pumasok sa akin, kung ano yung mismong core ko nadagdagan ng input,” he shared during the Deception digital media conference.

In the film Deception, Mark Anthony Fernandez plays the role of Claudine Barretto’s husband. The 43-year-old actor then admitted tat his former girlfriend Claudine Barretto really changed a lot ever since they worked together in the 1995 film Mangarap Ka and Pare Ko.

“Full bloom na babae na siya. Talagang tunay na lady na siya kasi nag-bear na siya ng baby. And mas super independent niya and successful society girl siya. Naging successful sa society siya na babae,” he said.

In addition to that, they were also asked on the possibility of them getting back together. Mark said that he’s serious of the possibility of him courting his ex-girlfriend again.

“Totoo yun. Though we’re close, trying to get closer, more closer with boss Clau, minsan nawawala siya eh. So tinitingnan ko if I can test the water, parang ganun. Posible kung mangyayari in the four years or three years. Pero pag lumagpas dun parang imposible na. Yun lang nag iniisip ko. Pag hindi kami nagka-loving loving in the next three years, wala ng mangyayaring ganun. Co-actors na lang kami. Pero siguro in the next three, four years nagka-jelling jelling kami, puwede. Pero beyond that, hindi na ako aasa pa,” he explained.

Deception is exclusively aired on Vivamax starting January 28. The film directed by Joel Lamangan was produced by Borracho Films starring Mark Anthony Fernandez and Claudine Barretto.
