Neil Arce, may ibinunyag bago siya maikasal kay Angel Locsin

Neil Arce was advised by his mother Jean to be “under” with wife Angel Locsin.

“Under” or “ander de saya” is Filipino slang for the mister who replicates the wife.

That’s the secret to a happy marriage, according to Neil’s mother.

Angel is 36 years old, while Neil is 38.

According to Jean, “Ang advice ko lang, best thing, maging under ka. Sundin mo lahat ng gusto ni Angel para masaya kayo.”

This is based on Angel and Neil’s vlog when they moved house a few weeks before their wedding.

Neil was alone in the house where he lived, and he sent his mother, Jean, to help him pack.

Neil smiled at his mother’s advice.

“Umpisahan ko ngayon pa lang. ‘Ah, okay, okay,'” Neil said.

Added Jean, “Ikaw dapat ang mag-asikaso ng bahay. Ikaw dapat ang mag-asikaso kay Angel.

“Pag nagkaanak kayo, ikaw dapat ang mapuyat, hindi si Angel.

“As a wife, gusto mo maging masaya asawa mo, ipag-shopping mo.”

Neil’s eyes widened at the part where he was going to take care the house because Jean first revealed that the young man was used to having a maid take care of his belongings.

Continued Jean, “Happy wife, happy life.”

Jean is open to saying that when she first met Angel, she already liked her for him.

That’s why the lady was very happy when Neil and Angel got engaged in June 2019.

“Sobrang saya ako. Kasi si Angel, napaka-down-to-earth talaga. Parang match kami,”

Angel and Jean really get along.

Neil recalls the three of them bonding at a concert, “Nung nanood kami ng U2, dalawa sila kumukulit sa akin. ‘Mag-hood ka. Mag-hat ka.”

Jean then said, “Sabi mo sa akin, ‘Naku, lagot! Dalawa na kayo ngayon.'”
