Shaina Magdayao is still part of the Kapamilya family.

On July 10, 2021, the first anniversary of the ABS-CBN shutdown, the 31-year-old actress proclaimed this in an Instagram post.

Shaina was one of the ABS-CBN artists who praised fans for sticking with the Kapamilya network despite the network’s loss of free TV, radio, and regional channels.

She wrote in her caption (published as is), “Isang taon na ang nakalipas…… Andito pa rin ang ating pamilya dahil sa pagmamahal natin sa isa’t isa.”

The 31-year-old actress also stated that she will continue to appear in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as a cast member.

This puts to rest rumors that she will be leaving ABS-CBN shortly.

Even after losing its free TV, radio, and regional stations, Shaina said, “PS Just to address what’s going around -I am a #KAPAMILYA and still with #FPJSANGPROBINSYANO”
Following the migration of Kapamilya performers such as Bea Alonzo, Richard Yap, and Pokwang, there have been whispers and blind items that a Kapamilya starlet is set to sign with GMA-7.

The aforementioned Kapamilya actress is supposed to be wrapping up her present teleserye before joining the Kapuso network.

In the blind item, Shaina’s name showed up as the actress who was identified.

Shaina’s transfer to GMA-7 was again rumored in June 2019, but she stated two months later that she has renewed her contract with ABS-CBN.

For the past 24 years, she has been a Kapamilya.

She began her career in 1996 with GMA-7 and moved to ABS-CBN in 1997.
