Karylle can not contain her happiness upon welcoming her close friend, Sunshine Dizon as a Kapamilya star after 25 years of being a homegrown GMA talent.

In Instagram, Sunshine posted a photo with It’s Showtime host and Encantadia co-star when they happen to saw each other on the floor of ABS-CBN inside the ELJ Building last May 25.

She wrote in the caption, “Super happy to see my sister @anakarylle kahit bawal ang hug at kailangan mag usap across the barrier. Virtual hug na lang muna. Love you sis”

Meanwhile in the comment section, Karylle admitted that up until now, she still can not believe that Sunshine is now a Kapamilya.

Karylle told Sunshine, “greenzone lang me!!! what a feeling!!! i couldn’t believe my eyes sister. sorry wala akong confetti to welcome you but i am very very happy to welcome you IN PERSONAL hehe! love u”

Later on, Karylle posted a video of them together.

Karylle said in her caption, “LDR in the time of Covid. Happy to give a warm welcome to my sistah @m_sunshinedizon love u!!!!”

Sunshine then commented, “Para tayo yung relative waiting sa airport”

Their other Encantadia sisters, Iza Calzado and Dianna Zubiri also sent love in the comment section of Karylle’s post.

The singer and TV host has always been supportive with Sunshine’s decision of leaving GMA.

As a matter of fact, before Sunshine’s conference to officially welcome her as a Kapamilya, she was on a video call with Karylle.

The singer then posted a message for the actress, Karylle wrote in her Instagram post, “Wishing you all the best my dearest sistah @m_sunshinedizon! Congrats on the new show and welcome Kapamilya! Goosies when I saw the big announcement! Kailan ulit yung #ThePretendTalkShow natin? Season 2 na ba? Wowwww Hahahaha! Picture + video call as usual muna before Shine’s mediacon!”
