Karen Davila, ginulat ang lahat ng sabihin ang bagay na ito kay Korina Sanchez

ABS CBN renowned broadcast journalist Karen Davila has finally addressed the issue of her rivalry with former Kapamilya newscaster, Korina Sanchez.

According to Karen, ever since she started working in ABS CBN, she knows for a fact that they never became “pantay” because Korina is her senior.

“Recently, nagkita kami ni Korina at a party, kay Anton San Diego [magazine editor]. And we posted it and andaming natuwa dun.

“And I think because it’s the first time people saw Korina and I together,”

Added Karen, before she transferred to ABS CBN from GMA, Korina has already established her name in the network.

“I’d like to say it the best way I could, Korina Sanchez was already an icon nung nagpunta po ako sa ABS.

“Lumipat po ako sa ABS in 2001, Korina Sanchez na po siya. Sikat na sikat na po siya.

“In other words, kailanman hindi po kami nagpantay.” she stated.

She also denied the issue that they are not talking to each other.

“Hindi po ako competitor ni Korina, the next Korina,” Karen said.

Continued the reporter, “The only person I can be is Karen. That’s all I can say.

“And I think the reason that all these things came out in the past, is because people were pitting us against each other.

“Well, ayoko namang magsinungaling. To be fair, there were periods in time naman na nagbabatian kami.

“Pero we didn’t have the opportunity kasi to really spend time together.

“Nasayangan lang ako in ABS was I wish Korina and I met at different circumstances that I got to know her.

“Because people tell me she’s such a good friend, a loyal friend to have.”
