Pokwang, rumerbak sa bashers na kine kwestyon ang kaniyang pagtulong kay Miss Myanmar!

Actress and comedienne slams bashers who question her intention of offering help to Miss Myanmar 2020 Thuzar Wint Lwin, who is now under arrest in her country for sneaking and joining Miss Universe to speak about her land’s situation under coup d’etat.

In twiitter, the actress calls for Thuzar, “Bukas ang aking tahanan para sa ‘yo, Miss Myanmar. Halika muna sa aking bahay (at) papakainin kita ng roasted chicken at laing ni mamang.”

In a recent Youtube vlog of talent manager and radio host Ogie Diaz, he revealed that he reached out to the actress to ask for her opinion about the bashers’ backlash.

According to some netizens, it is hiprocritical of her to adopt Thuzar when in fact, a lot of Filipinos need help.

Pokwang then reacts, “Dun sa mga nagsasabi na bakit daw maraming mahirap sa Pilipinas, bakit di ko raw ampunin, bakit daw si Miss Myanmar pa. “Excuse me, kung talagang followers ko kayo, legit ko kayong fan, alam niyo kung ano ang ginagawa kong pagtulong,” she said.

According to Pokwang, what matters to her is that God knows about the help that she is doing. “At hindi ko na iisa isahin yun, ang importante alam ni God kung ano ang ginagawa ko. Hindi yun mga naka-data lang na makapag-comment. Okay? Kalma.”

She then said that she will continue to pray for Thuzar and her country’s safety. “I’m always praying for you and for your country.”

Up to date, Thuzar is still not allowed to fly back to Myanmar because aside from warrant of arrests, the beauty queen has also been receiving death threats.
