Alice Dixson, nais mangyari ang bagay na ito sa kaniyang magiging anak

After long wait, actress Alice Dixson proudly shares a photo of her baby Aura, whom she had through surrogacy.

In her recent guesting in Eat Bulaga’s Bawal Ang Judgemental, she talked about her experience so far with her newborn.

“It was all me for the first month… actually month and a half. Ang hirap. Hanggang ngayon, puyat ako, but I’m not complaining. I’m enjoying every moment,”

Baby Aura was given birth in America, and Alice has t fly all the way form the country to process her papers.

But because of COVID-19 and flight restrictions, her family and her husband were not able to go with her.

“I embraced yung experience para makilala ko nang mabuti ang aking anak. Para magkaroon din kami ng bonding time.”

But when she came home in the Philippines, seeing her husband’s reaction was all worth the exhaustion and the effort.

“Ikinatutuwa ko nung pag-uwi ko… siyempre, naka-quarantine ako for 6 days.

“Sabi niya [her partner], ‘Ayoko ng driver. Gusto ko, pagsundo ko sa inyo, gusto ko ako lang kasi special moment ito na mami-meet ko ang aking anak for the very first time.’

“When we got to… tulong kami, kasi, alam niya… that was the only time na magkaroon ako ng karelyebo na mag-alaga. So, he helped me with feeding her.

“He let me sleep for the first time na dere-deretso na 8 hours. And he really… I saw parang how much he adores our child right away, he fell in love.”

When asked about her dreams and plans for her daughter, Alice says she wants her to be strong and smart.

“I just hope that she grows up to be a strong woman.

“My mom was very strong and I learned from her to really be persistent to look at the bright side of things and to just be a ray of sunshine.

“She is already actually our sunshine.

“I hope that she will continue to bring brilliance and be somebody who will contribute to our community as well.

“Ang dream ko, sa NASA, na maging austronaut siya.”
