Luis Manzano, sinagot sagot ang isang netizen na tinawag siyang “bakla”

Luis Manzano is no stranger to bashing, but remember when he took to Twitter after a netizen called him “bayot”?

Bayot is a visayan term for gay.

A basher, who was arguing over the internet, called out Luis and said, “Hoy bayot pag hilom [Hoy bakla manahimik ka]”.

The actor, who has been friends with a lot of gay people in and out of the industry, focused on emphasizing that being gay is not an insult and unlike what others are assuming, he is heterosexual.

Posting the photo of the netizen, Luis wrote,

“Kung maka-bayot ka naman as if masama maging bayot,
itsura mo nga ‘yung nagnanakaw ng bag sa fastfood.”

Continued Vilma Santos’ son, “Kung makasabi ka naman ng bayot, as if masama maging Bayot, tandaan mo ang LGBT+, breakfast lunch dinner ay discrimination ng ibang tao, at hinahassle pa… but yet, they always excel sa kahit anong gawin nila (smiley emoji) bayot ba ako? Nope (smiley) lupit ba nila? yes!”

Then another netizen replied, Ay alam ko yang sagot na yan. Bayot kaayo hahaha.

“Luis bakla din po ako no need na pangaralan ako.

“Hindi kita dini discriminate, dini describe po kita.

“Alam ko at amoy na amoy ko.

“I hope mahanap mo sa sarili mo yung totoong identity mo po.

“Hehe idol Salamat sa notice. Lab u.”

Luis then clapped back, “Binura mo nga tweet mo dahil nagmukha kang tanga… so as a gay man, you believe na ikaw dapat mag out na isang tao at hindi sa terms niya? Lupet mo ha, nasa yo pala ang say kung kelan dapat sila ma out in a humiliating manner, tanga nga talaga.”
