Working at an early age of 7, Kyline Alcantara was also exposed with the ugly culture of showbiz, where start up talents like her used to be humiliated by crews and directors.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Kyline recalled her one of the worst encounter with a director who not only called her out, but also her mom!

“I had a show before. Talent pa lang po ako. Napagalitan ako at na-discriminate ako.

Ayus-ayusin mo ‘yan! Asan ba nanay mo?!'”

The director called her mom forward, and asked her to speak out loud.

Added her, the same director also forced her to cry, and threaten t be physical with her.

“Like, to the point na kinukurot niya ako. Ganung levels siya. Naranasan ko yung ganong director.”

“Hindi ka iiyak? Hindi ka iiyak? Kukuritin kita.”

But then, the 18 year old star decided to use those ordeal as a fuel to her fire.

That’s why I really work really hard to gain that respect.
