Gerald Anderson, ibinunyag ang dahilan kung bakit niya inamin ang relasyon kay Julia Barretto

Gerald Anderson admitted that after confirming his long time speculated relationship with Julia Barretto on his exclusive interview with Boy Abunda.

In the press conference of his ABS CBN teleserye Init Sa Magdamag, Gerald said that his revelation brought nothing but peace of mind not only to him, but to his romance with the 24 year old actress as well.

“Siguro sa career, wala naman, but personally… wala, it’s just something na parang naramdaman ko na kailangan ko lang gawin for… siguro, yung peace of mind.

“Parang nabunutan ako ng tinik,” said the 42 year old Kapamilya star.

Continued Gerald, “After that, wala… tuloy ang buhay. Merong mas malalaking problema na hinaharap nating lahat kesa sa interview ko kay Tito Boy.

“But personally, it’s something I had to do. Wala. Move on na,”

The actor also talked about his strategy on professionalism, and how he’s able to separate personal problems with work dilemmas.

“Actually, magaling po akong maghiwalay ng personal life ko sa ginagawa ko sa set.

“Kung ano man ang pinagdadaanan ko, kunwari nasa gitna ako ng isang controversy o wala, kung nasa isang sitwasyon ako ng buhay ko na napakasaya ko…

“Hindi siya naaapektuhan, yung trabaho ko sa set.

“Kung anuman yung status ng puso ko sa panahon na nagtatrabaho ako, hiwalay siya sa ginagawa ko.

“But dun ko kinukuha yung motivation ko, sa character ko.”

YAM CONCEPCION: GERALD IS A GENTLEMAN

Yam Concepcion, Gerald’s co-star in Init Sa Magdamag also gives her part about Gerald’s attitude on the set, and how impressed she is with his strict working ethics.

“Pag katrabaho mo si Gerald, he’s very professional. ‘Tsaka very gentleman.

“Hindi niya pinaramdam sa ‘kin na may mali siya or what.

“It’s just purely work and despite it being just purely work, naparamdam niya sa akin yung emosyon na totoo.

“I still felt his honesty bilang si Tupe, yung character niya.”
