Long time celebrity couple Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez surprise their fans as they announce their engagement on Instagram.

On Tom’s part, he attached a photo of them together, showcasing Carla’s engagement ring.

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this…” he wrote.

Meanwhile on her part, Carla pens, “A million times, YES.”

The two have been in a relationship for 6 years already, and none of them showed any rushed desire of wanting to get married because of peer pressure.

just recently, the two also confirmed that they were living under the same house during quarantine period.

On an interview with Carla, she revealed how easy it is to live with her boyfriend because of his matured attitude.

We give each other time, regardless of whether there’s a pandemic or wala. When things are boiling up already, we give each other time.

“And thankfully with Tom, he is quick enough to come to his senses, reflect on everything, and then if it’s his fault, he apologizes right away.”

“Hindi kasi kami yung type na we let the day go by without resolving an issue. We don’t wanna end the day on a negative note. ‘Ayusin na natin. Let’s talk about it.’

“Pag medyo napapansin na nagiging heated na yung argument, quiet na lang kami and then we’d give each other time and space.”

Added her, “This pandemic, he was with me here at home.

“So, buti na lang may iba namang kuwarto na puwedeng pagtaguan or something. Dun muna ako sa guest room. Yung mga ganung bagay.”
