Miracle babies and menopausal pregnancy really do happen in real life. As a matter of fact, it is not as strange as it used to sound like before. But we still can not set aside the major health issues that can be risked due to this kind of situation. On normal pregnancy, the danger of the mother and the baby’s life is already big. Just imagine how tough menopausal conceiving can be.

That is why when the doctors found out that a 91 year old woman was pregnant, no one in the room can not even grasp the idea right away.

And that does not end there because the way more crazier part is just about to begin.

Because apparently, Estela Meléndez is not only pregnant, but is also conceiving her child for a total of 60 years now!

Yes, you read that right.

And how did that happen, you asked?

The reason is quite hard to understood, but it involves a lot of tragedies inside the ovary of a woman.

Estela and her late husband Manuel have been long trying to conceive a child.

After years of trying, the finally gave up.

Several years later, Estela was diagnosed with uterine tumor. After her husband died, she experienced a whole lot of pain on her abdomen and fear that her tumor came back and now it stints with cancer.

But apparently, what the doctors found out was not a tumor at all.

It was a fetus!

‘a fetus that had been inside of Estela for an astounding 60 years. After wishing for a child for so long, Estela was devastated to hear the news. The doctors informed Estela that she wasn’t the only one.” The Boredom Therapy wrote.

This kind of case may be rare, but the scientist are already enlightened with this kind of situation.

“This strange condition is called lithopedion, or, as it’s more colloquially called, having “stone babies.” Only 300 cases have been recorded in medical history. The condition has to do with where the baby grows inside the uterus. Or, rather, outside the uterus.

Often, a diagnosis of lithopedion means that the baby has developed on the exterior of the uterus. This can cause extreme risks, especially if the baby is absorbed into the mother’s body. ” TBT added.

The doctors and Estela decided not to remove the baby anymore for her age is not suited for any operation already. According to Estela, this is her another way of having her late husband’s memory inside her body.
