Actor and comedian Dennis Padilla can not help but to tear up as he talks about his longing for his kids with estranged wife Marjorie Barretto.

Dennis has three kids with the actress, Julia, Claudia and Leon.

On an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, he recalled how he held back his emotions during his unexpected reunion with Julia.

“Yeah, but I did not show her. Siyempre kilala ako, pangalan ko nga Dennis Astig. So I talk astig, I act astig.

“But when it comes to my children, I’m really weak.

“I cannot show her that kasi tinutukso ako ni Julia, ‘O, iiyak ka na naman…'”

Added her, he even tried to “lambing” his daughter with hopes to get invited on his Youtube channel.

“Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Jul, i-guest mo naman ako sa channel mo, yung parang drinking-drinking something.’

“Sabi niya, ‘Bakit?’ ‘Para ma-promote ko rin Pakboys.’

“Sabi niya, ‘Pagkatapos iiyak ka na naman?’

“Hindi na ako nakasagot. Hindi ko na pinush na mag-guest ako sa drinking-drinking vlog niya.”

JULIA ASKS DENNIS ABOUT MARRIAGE WITH MARJORIE

Revealed Dennis, his daughter once asked him about his failed relationship with the actress.

“One of the questions that Julia asked is, ‘What happened to you ba and mom? Bakit kayo nagkahiwalay?’

“So for now, with you, I will just give you one reason, because the other reason is quite private and delicate.

“One of the reasons is I was not providing that well during that time.

“Because my political career at that time as a councilor was already nearly finished.”

Continued Dennis, “And during that time, my career was not that blooming.

“Alam mo naman sa pag-aartista, pag umulan, talagang bagyo. Pero kapag nag-drought, pag tagtuyot, talagang tagtuyot.

“E, ganun ang cycle of life ng taga-showbiz.

“That time, talagang aminado ako, I was not able to provide for the needs that they need.”
