After two months of romance, Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna are now engaged!

On Instagram, Ellen shared some photos of the actor’s surprise proposal and wrote “game over”

Fans and and friends congratulated the couple, but netizens can not help but share mixed reaction about their fast paced romance.

On an interview with Nelson Canlas for 24 Oras just recently, the two admitted that they have been talking about settling down already.

According to Derek, he was sure that Ellen was the girl he wants to spend his life with.

Meanwhile Ellen, who first believed that she will not be able to get married in this lifetime, admitted that she started to reconsider it after meeting Derek who is totally her match.

“Actually, I haven’t talked about the future with him because, before, I think I’ve been very vocal about it na ayoko talagang magpakasal.

“I want a kid, a baby, I can’t imagine myself getting married.

“We talk about it. Yeah, we talk about it.”

Derek then butts in, “Sobrang kumportable kaming makipag-usap sa mga bagay na we would definitely make a stance in the past.”

“Like, when I hear that word [marriage], I’m gonna walk away na, iwan ko na, ayoko na.” Ellen added.

The Kapuso hunk then explained his thoughts about tying the knot, “Di ba, may reputation ako na ayoko magpakasal dahil ako yung lalaki, and I’ve always been vocal na, ‘No, I want to.’

“I’m just not rushing it, kasi I want to find the right person and talking about the future and talking about the M word seems so natural. Like, I have no fear.

“I never tap out. But this one, tap out muna tayo…

“The word is natural, and we want to be as natural as can be.

“But I would be lying to you, to myself, and to everyone if I didn’t say that she’s the girl that I wanna spend the rest of my life with.”
