After the controversial confirmation on Gerald Anderson’s relationship with Julia Barretto, netizens share mix reaction about the most awaited issue that has been around social media since 2020.

On an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda, the 31 year old actor fiercely admitted his romance with the 23 year old Kapamilya star.

According to him, he is very much happy with Julia as of the moment.

Meanwhile Julia, who has not yet released any statement after Gerald’s confession has prior announced that she will fight for her boyfriend and protect her love life with all that she have.

After the third party and ghosting issue on his relationship with former ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo, Gerald says that he is fully aware about the people’s opinion about him, but they are clearly focusing on something that does not matter.

“Lalo na ngayon sa social media, andali-dali sa Facebook magbigay ng comment, kahit sobrang sakit.

“Na parang hindi ko ma-imagine kung kaya ko mag-type ng ganun kasamang comment para sa ibang tao.

“Pero kailangan may perspective ka rin.”

Added him, “Sobrang binash ako. Sobrang nagalit sa akin sa social media dahil sa love life ko.

“Minsan, nakahiga ako sa kama, minsan inisip ko, andami nagagalit sa akin dahil sa love life ko.

“Maraming tao diyan na mas malala. Nangungarakot… Alam mo yun?”

But at the end of the day, Gerald chooses to always ignore the negativity and focus on his self and his happiness.

“So, parang pag ganun inisip mo, mababawasan.

“Nagagalit dahil sa love life ko, dahil hindi nag-work relationship ko…

“Kailangan may perspective ka.

“Kahit ano sabihin ko naman, hindi magbabago binigay na judgment ng ibang tao.

“Hindi ko ‘yan goal sa buhay na parang, ‘Sana mag-iba isip niyo sa akin.’

“Kailangan tuloy ang buhay.”
