Celebrity couple Matteo Guidecelli and Sarah Geronimo celebrates first wedding annivesaryy.

On Instagram, the actor posted a photo of their “family,” and thanked Sarah for being his source of happiness.

The actor wrote: “Thank you for bringing joy in our home, you are the reason why I smile when we wake up. You continue to inspire me everyday and I just love celebrating life with you. So proud of you my love! I love you forever”

On a separate post, Matteo made their fans feel kilig all over as he pens his wife a short yet sweet message, “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.”

ASHMATT’S CONTROVERSIAL WEDDING

Matteo and Sarah secretly got married in a private ceremony, and held an intimate reception at the Shangri-La at the Fort on February 20, 2020.

The whole event was reported to be out of Sarah’s parents’ knowledge, which resulted to Popstar Princess’ mom, Divine Geronimo to barge in uninvited.

The supposed private celebration became a public issue, that chained o different opinions from celebrity moms who were once knew to be strict with their daughter such as Annabelle Rama and Jaclyn Jose.

SARAH’S MARRIAGE LIFE

Months after the ordeal, the two started figuring out their married life together, to which Sarah fully enjoys.

According to her, being a wife to Matteo fully maximized her capabilities as a full grown adult.

“The marriage itself is a blessing, an opportunity to, yun nga, spend the rest of your life with your loved one.

“Yung napili mo talaga na makasama sa buhay, partner in life.

“It’s rewarding na challenging.”

Added her, “Challenging kasi siyempre, sa situation ko po, parang ito na yung big leap ko papunta ng adulting, di ba?

“Sinasabi ko nga lagi, naano siya, na-expedite.

“Masyado na ngang, anong tawag dun? Long overdue? But I guess ito talaga yung plano ‘no para sa akin.”
