BANGKOK, Thailand — Informa Markets is putting global connectivity, collaboration, and business opportunities at the center of Vitafoods Asia 2026, bringing together industry leaders, scientists, manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and other stakeholders from across markets to build partnerships and shape the future of nutrition and health.
Opening the three-day event in Bangkok, Informa Markets Thailand Chairman Manu Leopairote emphasized that the value of Vitafoods Asia goes beyond the products and technologies showcased on the exhibition floor.
He said the event provides a platform where scientists working on tomorrow’s ingredients, manufacturers developing new products, businesses looking for opportunities and experts navigating changing markets can meet, exchange ideas, and create relationships that can translate into commercial success.
“Vitafoods Asia” is positioned as a leading gathering for functional ingredients, dietary supplements and health and wellness solutions, with its 2026 edition expanding its international participation and business footprint. Informa Markets said the event features more than 800 companies across a 30,000-square-meter exhibition space, representing a 30% increase from the previous edition.
For Leopairote, however, the most important outcome is what happens when people connect.
He encouraged exhibitors to share their expertise, visitors to explore new solutions and participants to maximize meetings, conferences and networking opportunities to develop relationships that create value across the region.

The message comes as consumer demand continues to evolve, with growing interest in practical and trusted solutions related to nutrition, active lifestyles, healthy eating, digestion, immunity, beauty, sleep and mental well-being.
Leopairote noted that these trends present both challenges and opportunities for the industry, requiring companies not only to innovate but also to act responsibly and help consumers better understand the products and solutions available to them.
The choice of Bangkok as host city also underscores Thailand’s role as a major food production and manufacturing center, as well as a gateway to ASEAN and wider Asian markets. The event further highlights the importance of bringing international business communities together in a region where food, nutrition, health and wellness industries are rapidly evolving.

The opening program also featured a cultural presentation introducing international delegates to Thailand’s distinctive cultural heritage and hospitality, adding a local dimension to an event designed to connect participants from around the world.
Vitafoods Asia’s broader platform reflects Informa Markets’ approach of using exhibitions and related content platforms to enable professionals to network, share knowledge and do business. The Vitafoods network spans major industry events in different regions, with collaboration and connectivity at the core of its mission.
As Vitafoods Asia 2026 brings together the global nutraceutical community in Bangkok, the message from its opening is clear: the real opportunity lies not only in what is displayed, but in the connections made, ideas exchanged and partnerships built beyond the exhibition floor.
