2GO streamlines BEACON Expo 2026 logistics

2GO is providing end-to-end logistics support to around 300 maritime businesses participating in BEACON Expo 2026, helping exhibitors streamline the transport of materials, permit processing, and venue coordination ahead of the country’s premier maritime trade exhibition.

As the expo’s official event forwarder, 2GO recently hosted an exhibitors’ and contractors’ briefing to align participants, organizers, venue managers, contractors, and logistics teams on requirements and procedures ahead of the event.

The initiative is supported by 2GO-SMX Events Logistics, a centralized permit and logistics facilitation system established by 2GO Group, SMX Convention Center, Central Business Park (CBP), and SM Estates. The system was developed to streamline event-related logistics and coordination within the SMX Convention Center and the Mall of Asia Complex.

Under the arrangement, exhibitors and contractors can access a more coordinated process for transporting exhibit materials, securing permits, and managing ingress and egress activities.

“By simplifying logistics and permit facilitation, we allow exhibitors to focus on what matters most: showcasing their products, engaging with customers, and contributing to industry development,” said Faye Alonzo, Business Unit Head of 2GO Forwarding.

“Through 2GO-SMX Events Logistics, we are providing a single point of coordination that streamlines processes and supports exhibitors from preparation through event completion,” she added.

The briefing brought together the Maritime League of the Philippines, exhibitors, contractors, SMX venue managers, media representatives, and 2GO logistics teams. Discussions covered event requirements, booth protocols, logistics procedures, venue operations, and key timelines to help participants plan their activities and minimize potential delays.

Through the partnership, 2GO facilitates permit applications for exhibitors and contractors, coordinates endorsements with SM Estates, processes submissions with CBP, and provides logistics support covering ingress, event operations, and pull-out activities.

The integrated system is designed to reduce administrative requirements for exhibitors while helping ensure compliance with venue and estate procedures.

BEACON Expo 2026, themed “Empowering Maritime Excellence: Advancing a Sustainable Blue Economy,” is expected to bring together maritime industry leaders, regulators, suppliers, and other stakeholders from across the country.

The collaboration between 2GO, SMX Convention Center, CBP, and SM Estates highlights the growing role of integrated logistics in supporting large-scale industry events and the evolving requirements of the Philippine maritime sector.
