TOP expands Light Fuels in Negros Oriental

Following a strong first-half performance that saw net income rise 61.6% to ₱123 million, Top Line Business Development Corp. (TOP) has expanded its Light Fuels network in Negros Oriental with five renovated stations expected to generate about 600,000 liters in monthly sales volume.

The expansion marks the first Light Fuels cluster outside TOP’s home base of Cebu, strengthening the company’s retail fuel presence in the Visayas while creating additional revenue opportunities through commercial spaces available for lease at select locations.

The five stations, comprising Cluster 2 of TOP’s acquired fuel retail network, are located in Lower Camanjac in Dumaguete City, Sibulan, Dauin, Valencia, and San Jose.

TOP said the stations are strategically positioned in key areas of Negros Oriental to serve motorists and support the province’s growing mobility needs.

“Bringing our first Light Fuels cluster outside Cebu to Negros Oriental is an important step in our expansion strategy,” said Brigitte Carmel Lapasaran Lim, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of TOP.

“With the Negros Island Region posting 5.7% economic growth in 2025, we see continued potential for Light Fuels to grow its presence in the region,” Lim added.

Beyond fuel retailing, the renovated stations will offer additional services designed to provide greater convenience to motorists.

Fully automated motor wash systems will be installed across all five stations, with the systems capable of completing motorcycle cleaning in approximately three minutes.

Select locations will also feature commercial spaces for lease, providing additional income opportunities while broadening the range of services available to customers.

“This expansion is another step toward building a more accessible and customer-focused Light Fuels network across the Visayas,” Lim said.

“As we enter new growth areas, our goal is to provide motorists not only with reliable fuel access, but also with convenient services that support their everyday mobility needs.”

TOP’s expansion follows its strong H1 2026 financial performance, when net income climbed 61.6% to ₱123 million, supported by continued growth in its fuel and retail operations.

The company said renovations for Clusters 3 and 4, covering additional stations in Cebu, Leyte, and Siquijor, are expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
