Allianz PNB Life posts 98% growth, ranks No. 3 in PH
Allianz PNB Life is entering its second decade in the Philippines with strong business momentum, posting a 98% year-on-year increase in new business in the first half of 2026 and ranking third in the country’s life insurance industry.
The insurer recorded ₱4.59 billion in consolidated New Business Annual Premium Equivalent (NBAPE) during the first half, according to the latest data from the Insurance Commission. NBAPE is a key measure of new business sales in the life insurance industry.
The performance comes as Allianz PNB Life marks its 10th year in the Philippines, giving the company an opportunity to assess its growth while outlining how it plans to expand its reach, financial solutions and community initiatives in the years ahead.
The company attributed its continued momentum to customer trust, its bancassurance partnership with Philippine National Bank (PNB), and the expansion of its distribution network.
Allianz PNB Life now has nearly 500 Financial Solutions Specialists (FSS) serving customers across PNB branches nationwide, strengthening its ability to provide insurance, savings and other financial solutions to more Filipino families.

“For 10 years, we have worked to earn the trust of Filipino families by helping protect what matters most to them,” said Joe Gross, President and Chief Executive Officer of Allianz PNB Life.
“Our strong first-half performance and continued customer growth show that our purpose continues to resonate. For us, growth is not just a business result. It means more Filipino families are trusting Allianz PNB Life to help secure what matters most,” Gross added.
As it looks ahead, the insurer said it will continue to broaden its reach through simple, relevant and affordable solutions, while enhancing customer experience and strengthening its distribution capabilities.
Expanding financial protection and savings
One of the products highlighted during the media briefing was Allianz Secure Save, an insurance and savings solution designed to help Filipino breadwinners work toward long-term financial goals while providing life insurance protection.
The product combines professionally managed investments with life insurance coverage, allowing customers to build funds for goals such as children’s education, retirement and other long-term family needs.
Allianz Secure Save also offers a Guaranteed Issue Offer and flexible five-year and 10-year premium payment options.
By combining savings and protection, the product is positioned to help customers build financial resources while providing beneficiaries with insurance coverage in case of the insured’s death.
Extending resilience to communities

Allianz PNB Life also presented its sustainability initiatives, which focus on strengthening resilience beyond individual households.
“Insurance and sustainability share the same goal: building resilience,” said Zanne Magararu, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief of Staff of Allianz PNB Life.

“Through our products, we help families prepare financially and protect the future they are working hard to build. Through our partnerships, we strengthen resilience where it matters most,” Magararu said.
Among the initiatives highlighted was MoveNow, implemented in partnership with Bahay Tuluyan, which supports vulnerable young single mothers through employability training, financial literacy, life skills development, parenting support, childcare assistance and psychosocial services.
The program seeks to help participants improve their financial independence while creating better opportunities for their children.
Allianz PNB Life is also working with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) through Project Talaghay, which focuses on disaster preparedness and climate resilience in vulnerable communities.
The initiative supports risk awareness, early warning systems, local capacity-building and community-led action to help families and communities better prepare for and respond to disasters.
The media briefing brought together Allianz PNB Life executives and sustainability partners, including Bahay Tuluyan Executive Director Catherine Scerri and PDRF President Rene “Butch” Meily, who joined a fireside discussion on resilience, preparedness and cross-sector collaboration.
The 10th-anniversary milestone comes as Allianz PNB Life seeks to build on its stronger market position and broaden its role in the financial lives of Filipino families.
With new business nearly doubling in the first half of 2026, the insurer enters its second decade with an expanded distribution network, new financial solutions and a growing portfolio of community initiatives aimed at strengthening financial and social resilience.
