RCBC expands free InstaPay transfers across digital platforms

Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) will waive InstaPay fees for person-to-person (P2P) fund transfers made through its digital banking platforms beginning July 4, 2026, making it easier and more affordable for customers to send money to other banks, digital wallets, and participating financial institutions.

Under the new policy, RCBC Pulz users can enjoy free InstaPay transfers for transactions worth at least ₱100, with up to 30 free transfers per customer every month. A standard ₱10 fee will apply after the monthly limit is reached or for transfers below the minimum amount.

Meanwhile, all person-to-person InstaPay transfers made through RCBC DiskarTech will remain free, with no minimum transaction amount and no monthly transaction cap.

The initiative is part of RCBC’s broader strategy to accelerate digital banking adoption by eliminating one of the most common costs associated with everyday electronic transactions. It also aligns with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ digital payments agenda under BSP Circular No. 1238, which encourages financial institutions to adopt fair, transparent, and market-based pricing for person-to-person electronic fund transfers.

“Our commitment is to make digital banking simpler, more accessible, and more affordable for every Filipino,” said Reggie Cariaso, President and CEO of RCBC.

“Offering free InstaPay transfers through both RCBC Pulz and DiskarTech reflects our commitment to delivering practical solutions that create everyday value for our customers while advancing the country’s digital transformation.”

Cariaso added that removing transfer fees helps encourage wider adoption of digital financial services.

“Digital banking succeeds when it delivers real value to real customers. Eliminating transfer fees is one way we can remove barriers to adoption while helping Filipinos build stronger digital financial habits,” he said.

Beyond fund transfers, RCBC Pulz offers digital banking services including foreign exchange in eight major currencies, unit investment trust funds (UITFs), credit card management, loan applications, QR Ph payments, and a U.S. virtual account that enables Filipinos to access U.S. banking services without a U.S. address or residency.

RCBC DiskarTech, the bank’s financial inclusion super app, provides digital savings, payments, fund transfers, mobile load, bill payments, and the MySSS Card developed in partnership with the Social Security System (SSS).
