Jillian Ward, Ready Na Nga Ba Sa Mga Mature Role!?

It’s not a secret that most celebrities in the showbiz industry started their careers as child stars who play either the protagonist or the antagonist in the story. As time flies, people notice the changes within them no only with their skills but also with their appearance.

Among the celebrities who started their careers in showbiz at a young age are Angelica Panganiban, Anne Curtis, Camille Prats, John Prats, and a lot more.

And now, it appears that another child star is set to take another milestone as she slowly matures in the showbiz industry.

The young Kapuso star Jillian Ward is one of the celebrities in showbiz who is now considered a fine young woman. Through the years, Jillian has grown into such an amazing woman.

The question is, is she ready to take on more serious and mature roles?

She was best known for her role in Prima Donnas and now, Jillian is about to take a more serious role as she portrays the role of Donna Marie or Mayi in the Book 2 of the said GMA series.

“Mas may lalim na po ‘yung trabahong ginagawa ko sa mga roles ko po, mas nabibigyan ng lalim. And mas may understanding na rin po talaga kasi mahilig po akong mag-research, mahilig po akong magbasa,” Jillian said in Chika Minute a segment of the GMA News 24 Oras.

In addition to that, the Kapuso young star has also expressed her joy after she received a lot of surprises from her supporters for her 17th birhtday.

The actress has just turned 17 on February 23 and as expected, she received a lot of love from everyone. She received warm greetings and surprises including a billboard on EDSA where she was called the GMA Teen Queen.

“Nagsanib pwersa po sila para meron pong billboard, tapos meron pong cards ng surprise, tapos yung setup po noong mismong birthday ko, may mga cakes, so sobrang sweet po talaga,” Jillian said.

Furthermore, the actress talked about the most recent photo she posted showed her dressed in a mermaid costume. She said that the photo was shot by her mom. She then revealed that she has always wanted to try being a mermaid in fantasy shows and movies.

“Gusto ko po talaga i-try na mag-mermaid, ‘yung mga fantasy shows, movies,” she said.
