Sikat na Artista, Ibinahagi Ang Traumang Dulot Ng Kanyang Ex-boyfriend
Janella Salvador admits getting traumatized from her previous relationship.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Janella Salvador talked about the effects of her previous relationship to her well-being.
The Kapamilya actress recalled the details of how she was traumatized by her ex-boyfriend’s actions towards her. However, Janella also admits that she already forgave him and that she can never hold a grudge against anyone.
“May trauma siyang nadulot sa akin. Na-forgive ko naman na. Ako, as a person, mabilis akong mag-forgivr. Hindi ako nagho-hold ng grudges kasi ako, gusto ko peaceful tayo, okay. Sige,” Janella Salvador said.
Despite the trauma she had because of her past relationship, Janella chose to respect her ex-boyfriend’s privacy by not naming him.
“Pero closure, hindi kami nagkaroon ng closure. I just chose to… Okay na. Let go ko na,” Janella added
Janella further stated that her trauma was not a physical trauma but more of a trauma whenever her ex-boyfriend is drunk.
“Actually ang naging trauma sa akin hindi yung physical part e. Actually, I’ve never talked about this. I won’t go into detail na lang pero ‘yung part na na-trauma ako, for some reason is being around drunk people, drunk men. ‘Yun ang naging trauma ko. Kapag lalaki tapos lasing tapos wala sa sarili, doon ako na-trauma,” Janela explained
Janella Salvador then revealed that her current partner Markus Paterson is aware if what she has gone through.
The actress can’t help but laugh when asked if Markus is already avoiding alcoholic drinks given the fact that he knows about her trauma.
She said, “We’re working on it. Pero ayun, syempre he’s younger. Hindi niya maiwasan na gusto niya mag-enjoy minsan. Hindi rin naman niya kasalanan na may trauma aki pero we’re trying to work on it.”
“Siguro ano, I used to have this mindset when I was younger siguro hindi lang ako ito maraming makaka-relate na parang, ‘aayusin kita. I’ll help you to fix yourself ganu’n.
“Pero no matter kasi how much you try to fix someone kung ayaw nilang tulungan ang sarili nila, wala. Ikaw lang ‘yung madi-drain nang madi-drain, ikaw lang ‘yung mapapagod, so, hahayaan ko na lang.
“As long as alam niya ‘yung nararamdaman ko. I just express kung ano ‘yung napi feel ko about a certain thing, kunwari ito ‘yung ginagawa mo and I feel this way, I tell him.
“Siya na bahala kung babaguhin niya ‘yun or hindi, my patience can get finish din, so, if you don’t try and be a better person then ‘yun na. ‘Yun na ‘yung ultimatum ko,” Janella explains.
She also added “lagi kong sinasabi na wala namang problema kung uminom ka basta alam mo lang ‘yung boundaries mo, ‘yung limit mo. Alamin mo lang ‘yung limit mop ag feeling mo. Pag feeling mo hindi mo na kaya, ‘wag kang uminom. I guess that’s his (Markus) struggle in life, struggle niya sa buhay ha, ha, ha. Pero now, I think he’s trying na talaga. And I know he wants to grow and mature na rin, feeling ko na-inspire siya kay Jude.”
When asked if will she ever give up in Markus she said, “I will try my best to be by his side as much as possible, pero I love myself hindi ako magpapaka-martyr. Pero alam niya ‘yun mahal ko siya pero hindi ako magpapaka-martyr siyempre.
“And I can see naman na he’s inspired, he’s a good person he has a good heart, don’t get me wrong siyempre meron pa siyang ima-mature.”
She also mentioned that ever since Baby Jude came into her life, she got even more patient.
When asked if they are already planning to get married, Janella Salvador said they don’t have plans yet and they still want to learn more about each other.
