Bettina Carlos shares a heartbreaking news to her followers.

TV Host-actress Bettina Carlos has just revealed that she suffered a miscarriage on her first baby with her husband Mikki Eduardo.

Bettina Carlos took to Instagram to share that they are currently grieving for losing their little angel. She also attached a photo of her positive pregnancy test along with a sonogram of her baby and an excerpt from the book “To Anyone Who Has Lost A Child” by Vaneetha Rendall Risner.

“We were pregnant and then no more. To all the mothers who have lost their children before they could even hold them, feel them, see them (in the flesh or through ultrasound), may you, too, find peace in this: God’s purposes for the lives of our unborn children were fully fulfilled however long or short they were in us. Their lives did not go to waste,” Bettina Carlos wrote as a caption to her Instagram post.

Bettina also added that if she’s still breathing then it simply means that God has a purpose for her.

“If you are still breathing, that means God’s purpose for you is not yet fulfilled. Hence, your very life and every breath.”

“Lord, You were so gracious in giving to us and You are still good even in taking away. Thank You for the fresh hope and new joy that You gave us even for a very short while.

“Thank You for the assurance that one day, in heaven, we will see and be with our child. Thank You for what You give when You take away. What we gain from this loss,” Bettina added.

Bettina also shared a few words she read from the book “To Anyone Who Has Lost A Child. The words read, “The Lord has a purpose for each human life, and so a child who dies in the womb has fulfilled his purpose just as fully as someone who lives to old age…This child’s life, however brief, was full of meaning and purpose.”

Before she took to Instagram to announce her miscarriage, Bettina already posted a prayer of thanks. “Knowing You changed my life. It gave it meaning and purpose for every day that I wake up, every person I encounter, every situation I find myself in.

“Thank you that You have molded my heart to thank You IN ALL THINGS. To see Your Hand on my life. To see You and Your goodness behind everything. Thank you for the way and extent You allow me to know You. Help me pursue You more and more,” She wrote.
