James Reid is indeed one of the most popular and good looking celebrity in the Philippine showbiz Industry. The Filipino-Australian actor rose to fame after joining the hit reality show Pinoy Big Brother.

He was already good performing on his own but things got even better when he was paired with Nadine Lustre who became his reel-to-real girlfriend who happens to be his ex-girlfriend already.

James Reid’s popularity became the reason why a lot of speculations spread when he revealed that he will finally be settling down in LA for good.

Ever since James Reid revealed that he will be staying abroad for good, people can’t help but speculate that he’s doing this to move on from his former girlfriend. Meanwhile, there are also some who believe that James is only doing this to achieve his dream of dominating the international music industry.

It appears that James Reid’s father has had enough of this nonsense and has decided to speak up and defend his son.

Malcolm Reid took to Instagram to reveal the real reason why James Reid will be leaving the country.

He stated that James Reid flew to Los Angeles, California simply to record songs and visit his brother Andrew.

“With James at NAIA a few days ago. On his way to LA for recording sessions and to visit his brother Andrew. That’s it. Anything else is basura … sorry to disappoint the fake newsmakers,” Malcolm wrote on Instagram.

A week ago, James Reid’s sister Chantal Calicdan confirmed that the singer actor already departed from the Philippines wherein he was sent by their mother Emma MacDonald to the airport.

Before his departure, James Reid had a send-off party wherein their closest friends and colleagues celebrated with him. Photos were seen on various Instagram stories.
