Mariel Padilla has just revealed that just like Angel Locsin, she hasn’t gotten a wedding ring yet despite being married for 12 years!

The revelation happened when Angel Locsin posted a series of photos of her and her husband Neil Arce on Instagram.

The certified Kapamilya actress took to Instagram to share how they celebrated Valentine’s Day.

Angel Locsin wrote, “Pre-valentine’s dinner

Sabi ko simplehan lang! May pa-wedding ring si Mr. Arce Finally, may wedding ring na rin kami Thank you my love @neil_arce ”

It was in August 2021 when Neil Arce and Angel Locsin tied the knot in a simple yet intimate civil wedding ceremony. Neil Arce only gave Angel Locsin a wedding ring, six months after they officially became a married couple.

Mariel Rodriguez commented on Angel Locsin’s post. She left everyone in total shock when she revealed that after 12 years of marriage, Robin Padilla never gave her a wedding ring.

“Kami mag 12 years wala kaming wedding rin parin mars. Hehehe happy anniversary,” said Mariel Rodriguez Padilla in the comment section.

Angel Locsin then responded to her comment and said, “singilin mo na si kuya @robinhoodpadilla. tawang tawa kami ni Neil!”

While Angel Locsin and Mariel Padilla find it funny that they got married without a wedding ring, there are some netizens who can’t help but wonder how that happened and thought that the wedding ring is the first thing you need when getting married.

The netizen asked, “how do you get married without a ring? I thought that’s the main thing you need first? No hate po just asking.”

However, the netizen didn’t get a response either from Mariel Padilla or Angel Locsin.

Mariel Rodriguez Padilla is a former Pinoy Big Brother Guest Celebrity housemate who tied the knot with Robin Padilla in an intimate and traditional wedding held in Taj Mahal in India back in August 2010.
