Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez are considered as one of the loveliest couples in the Philippine entertainment industry.

People admired how they adore each other and their good looks just make everything even better.

However, recently everyone was left in shock when rumors about their split up became a hot topic on social media. The rumors started when the newlyweds unfollowed each other on Instagram in a few minutes, speculations and controversies were thrown at them

According to the rumors, Tom Rodriguez allegedly had a third party who also happens to be his co-worker. The reliable source even stated that the two grew fond of each other during a lock-in taping for a teleserye and soon enough they fell for each other.

Clues were revealed in Cristy Fermin’s program “Cristy Ferminute”.

Aside from Cristy Fermin, Christian Albert Gaza or more popularly known as Xian Gaza, also has his fair share for the chismis that’s spreading on social media.

Using his Instagram account, Xian Gaza sent a private message to Carla Abellana asking about the controversy that Tom Rodriguez got another woman pregnant.

The message reads, “May gusto lang sana akong linawin para makatulog na po ako. Dalawang gabi na po kasi akong binabagabag nito. Apektado na po ang mental health ko.”

“How true po na may ibang nabuntis few months bago ang kasal? Totoo po ba ang tsismis na itey? Or fake news lamang ito? Nyealamat (Salamat) po.”

With the clues and stories provided buy both Xian Gaza and Cirsty Fermin, the netizens claimed that the third party is Kelley Day.

Kelley day worked with Tom Rodriguez in the Kapuso prime time teleserye “The World Between Us”. With her name being dragged down to the issue, Kelley Day decided to speak up.

On January 27, the Kapuso actress released an Instagram story where she explained her side of the story.

The Kapuso actress explained that she has nothing to do with the split up of Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez.

Kelley explained, “many people are speculating about my involvement in a certain rumor/blind item story that seem to have been circulating today.

“so before things get too out of hand, i’d like to clarify that I have no knowledge of/involvement with the controversy.

She also added that she had no idea how her name got dragged into the controversy but she knows that all of those are fake.

“I don’t know how or why my name has become linked (i’m surprised too), but what I do know is these accusations about me are false.”

She also spoke up about the issue that Tom Rodriguez got her pregnant that’w\s why she flew to London to have her pregnancy there. However, Kelley denied the claims and stated that she was there to travel and to attend a funeral of a family member.

“I’ve travelled to the Uk to attend the funeral of a family member, and to spend time with my UK-based family.

“I’m not pregnant (nor have I ever been),” Kelley said.

Kelley Day then ended her statement by saying that she never grew close to Tom during their taping.

“I have never had anything close to romantic involvement/interest with the person.

“I have, and always will the utmost respect for the Couple. They have always treated me with kindness.

“I hope this clears up the false rumors involving me. So much fake news out there nowadays.

“I hope we can take more caution with what we choose to believe online,” Kelley added.
