Kapitbahay Na Nagsampa Ng Kaso Kay Lolo Nardo, humiling ng proteksyon sa kapulisan

Help came pouring for Lolo Nardo who was jailed for allegedly stealing mangoes from his neighbor.

Ryza Cenon, Wendell Ramos and a lot of businessmen and politicians are the ones who sent help to the 80-year–old man.

Lolo Nardo Flores is the 80-year-old man who became a viral topic online after the netizens were left heartbroken by what he had experienced. This was after he was arrested for allegedly stealing 10 kilos of mangoes from the mango tree in the neighborhood.

Lolo Nardo was detained from January 13 up until the 20th of January, the day the police officers bailed him out. According to the reports, the incident started back in April 2021. They were unable to resolve the issue in their Barangay and so a formal complaint was filed.

Celebrity Ryza Cenon was heartbroken by what had happened to Lolo Nardo and so she sent help through Lolo Nardo’s Niece.

Meanwhile, Wendell Ramos personally sent his help through a negosyo packagge. He gave Lolo Nardo a fresh meats and a mango stand.

His post reads, “Mission accomplished! LOLO NARDO’s dagdag KABUHAYAN , munting mga REGALO at NEGOSYO mula po saamin ng @ifranchise.bscorp , @ofwfamilyclub at @wendeli_meathouse”

Aside from them a lot of people also sympathized with Lolo Nardo and even gave him legal aid.

However, the netizens were left wondering what really happened. Everyone got confused when the complainant gave the a different part of the story.

Robert Hon, a truck driver and the caretaker of the land where Lolo Nardo Flores stole mangoes from, breaks his silence.

Hong has kept his silence for a long time, claiming he feared his life because of the threats that he and his family has been receiving because people are siding with Lolo Nardo.

Due to the threats he’s been receiving, he pleaded the authorities to give him protection.

In an exclusive interview by GMA TV with Hong, he clarified that Lolo Nardo stole 10 baskets of mangoes and not only 10 kilos.

Hong also added that they tried to settle in their Barangay three times but they failed to do so, leading to a formal complaint being filed.

Aside from that, Hong revealed that he already withdrew the complaint that’s why he was shocked when the old man was arrested.

“Sinabi naman sana niya, ‘Ito na lang ang natira sa napagbentahan ko. Patawarin mo ako kung ano yung nagawa kong kasalanan at hindi ko na uulitin.’ E, di maluwag sa loob ko na hindi ko na itutuloy yung kaso,” Hong said.

Hong also insisted in the interview with Balitang Amianan that it was not Flores who planted the mango. He added that that the owner of the land only allowed Flores’ relative to stay in the farm but he was not the caretaker of the land.

His statements were then strengthened by a witnessed who saw Lolo Nardo take 10 baskets of mangoes and not 10 kilos.

The witness said that Hong was not at home when Flores took 10 baskets of mangoes. However, he also clarified that neighter Hong nor FLores owns the land where the mango was planted.

The only difference is, Hong was the caretaker of the land that’s why he filed the case against Flores.

Meanwhile, Flores’ arraignment is set to happen on February 8, 2022 since he only paid the bail of P6,000 for his temporary freedom.

Flores also broke his silence. He apologized to Hong and admitted his wrongdoings.
