In the Philippines, being a celebrity is considered as one of the toughest jobs. A lot of people would probably disagree but let’s all face the fact that there’s a lot of struggles behind the Instagram-worthy photos of the Filipino actors and actresses.

Each and every celebrity has their own image to cherish. Once this image is tarnished, it sure is hard to rise to fame once again that’s why a lot of celebrities are doing their best to take good care of their image. However, some people just doesn’t have better things to do.

Just recently, Liza Soberano became one of the hottest topics in the Philippine entertainment industry after a lot of people claimed that she’s pregnant. People had different theories that are based on the young actress’ social media posts.

These people are claiming that Liza Soberano has suddenly gained weight and is somehow posting fewer photos than before. Thus, claiming that she’s currently bearing the child of Enrique Gil.

To everyone’s surprise, Xian Gaza came to Liza Soberano’s defense and stated that the false accusations are indirect body-shaming since people has concluded that she’s pregnant based on her weight gain.

The male influencer took to social media to explain as to why people should be defending Liza Soberano from such controversies.

Xian wrote, Pasensya na pero hindi ko maaaring itsismis at gawing content si Liza Soberano dahil ang manager niya ay kumpare ko. Ito yung tinatawag na “Pambansang Marites Nyeammunity”. Saka isa pa, ang tawag sa akin ni Liza ay “Chairman”. Mataas ang respeto sa akin nung tao, bakit ko peperwisyuhin ang buhay devah?”

He then continued and called out the netizens for their indirect body shaming against Liza Soberano. He wrote, “Sige kayo chika diyan na buntis siya. What if tumaba lang talaga siya ngayon tapos ganyan ang mga komento niyo? Indirect body shaming pa tuloy ang nangyari. Eh kung sampahan kaya kita ng libel ha? May pambayad ka ba sa abugado? Baka pamasahe mo sa korte eh ipangungutang mo pang hampaslupa ka. Huwag na si Liza please lang at hindi tama yung pagtsismisan na buntis ang isang babae. Mali yan, Kapatid. Magbago ka na. Ang tanong ngayon mga Mars, buntis kaya si Yen? Mygaaaahd nakakaloka!”

This should serve as a lesson to every netizens out there to think before you spread false accusations against anyone, not only the celebrities.
