Joshua Garcia is speecheless but flattered when Ivana Alawi admitted that she likes the Kapamilya actor.

Ivana was first introduced by her sister Mona Louise Rey on the sexy actress’ vlog on August 29, 2021.

Ivana did not hide her pleasure when watching the surprise video message from Joshua.

In Ogie Diaz’s vlog with Ivana on October 13, 2021, Ivana reiterated that she is crushing on Joshua.

Here, the sexy actress also admitted that she and Joshua have communication and they have exchanged messages with each other through direct Instagram messages.

At the virtual mediacon of ABS CBN’s TV series Viral Scandal held last night, October 19, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Joshua for his reaction about Ivana.

Joshua covered his face first, who seemed embarrassed especially since the entire cast members of the series were at the presscon, teasing him.

According to Joshua, “Ako, pag may humanga sa akin, nakakadagdag ng confidence yun sa lalake, di ba?

“Di ko alam ang reaction ko. Siyempre thank you kasi naa-appreciate yung work ko na ginagawa.

“Base sa nakita ko at narinig ko, na-appreciate niya yata yung acting ko, thankful, sobrang thankful ako.

“As an actor, maraming salamat.”

Joshua also said that he wanted to be friends with Ivana, but he did not elaborate on how they DM each other.

“Yeah, I’m open na maging magkaibigan, okay lang sa akin,”

Joshua is one of the members of the “Nguya Squad” which consists of the couple Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.

It also includes Sofia Andres, Sofia’s partner Daniel Miranda, Ria Atayde, Marco Gumabao, and others.

Last September Joshua gave a heartfelt message that the group had helped him not to drown in grief at a time when he was going through something.

“Sila kasi yung nandun para sa akin especially nung nag-pandemic. Nakakulong lang ako palagi sa kuwarto, di kasi ako mahilig lumabas.

“Laking tulong nung ginawa nila na lumalabas kami, ang dami naming activities na ginagawa.

“Sila rin kasi yung nandiyan nung time na nung may problema ako, sila yung nandiyan para sa akin.”

Added him, “Di sila nawala, aminado ako na nawala ako.

“Hayun, sobrang pasasalamat lang, sobrang grateful ko na nandiyan lang sila para sa akin.

“Sobrang suwerte ko na naging kaibigan ko sila.”
