Reyalidad ng showbiz, maagang pinatikim kay “Hipon Girl” Herlene Budol

Herlene Nicole Budol, 21, was first blessed with good fortune when she joined the Kapuso network’s Wowowin in May 2019.

In the entertainment industry, she is known as “Hipon girl.”

It was only then that it became clear that she was kikay and self-assured.

When Wowowin host Willie Revillame asked if she was beautiful, Herlene replied, “Hindi ako sure. Sabi nila, seksi ka lang. Shrimp nga ang tawag nila sa akin.”

“Hipon” or shrimp in English, is a term used to describe someone who has a “nice body but an ugly face,” according to the Urban Dictionary.

“’Di ba, kapag kakain ka ng hipon, tatanggalin mo iyong ulo, kakainin mo iyng katawan?” Herlene continued.

Herlene was dubbed “Hipon Girl” after that.

The girl went viral right away, and she was invited to co-host Wowowin as a result.

Before becoming the co-host of Wowowin, Herlene worked in a variety of jobs, according to her.

She admitted that she was a “raketera”.

Herlene shared how overwhelmed she was when she started show business.

Herlene used to struggle to find work that paid her enough to eat on a daily basis, but when she started as a co-host on Wowowin, she had a monthly and consistent salary.

She was extremely grateful to Willie Revillame, the person who gave her a showbiz break.

Even though she did not tell the TV host, Herlene thought to herself, “Siguro si God, ginawa si Sir Wil para sa akin.”

Herlene’s livelihood was impacted by the pandemic when it first broke out. She was removed from the show before the other Wowowin employees.

She said in Toni Gonzaga’s vlog that the PHP100,000 he saved when she co-hosted the game show was depleted due to the pandemic.

Herlene spoke about the difficulties she faced after losing her job due to the pandemic.

She claims she struggled with unemployment because her entire family relied on her and she no longer has anything to give.

Herlene admits that she has become complacent at work, which is why she hasn’t been able to save much money.

Herlene is currently vlogging. Toni’s sister, Alex Gonzaga, taught her, but she has yet to make money from vlogging.

She also sells her clothes and makeup on the internet.

Toni will give Herlene her entire earnings from her YouTube channel from the interview with Harlene as a form of help.

She also reminded Herlene that she is still young and has a lot of opportunities ahead of her.
