Veteran comedian Long Mejia has apologized after uttering scathing words against Ellen Adarna.

John en Ellen is the weekly TV5 sitcom starring Ellen and John Estrada that airs from January 24 to August 1. One of the cast members is Long.

In an exclusive report by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last night, August 4, Long confirmed that Ellen actually left the set on the last taping day of the sitcom before the scenes were over.

The last day of the cast’s lock-in taping took place at a resort in Laiya, Batangas on June 25.

Long is upset because the entire production is said to be affected because there is still a need to shoot a scene with the family of John and Ellen, who act as a couple in the show.

Part of Long’s statement: “Si Ellen Adarna, hindi pa siya sikat, ha?

“Mali yung ginawa niya, umalis siya sa gitna ng eksena.
“Ang salita niya lang sa isang production staff na nadaanan niya, ‘Bye!’ Ano ‘yon?”

Just fourteen hours after the article was published, on Thursday, August 5, PEP.ph found out that Long wanted to clarify Ellen’s departure from the lock-in taping of the sitcom on June 25. .

It turns out that Ellen and the show’s management have an agreed cut-off that Long doesn’t know about.

Long exclusively sent his video message on the issue to PEP.ph.

Long’s calm statement: “Ellen… Ako ay tiklop-tuhod na humihingi sa iyo ng pasensya. Pasensya ka na. Huwag ka magagalit sa akin.

“Medyo hindi ko alam kung ano ang mga pangyayari.

“Kung may nasabi man ako dun sa PEP Talk, pagpasensyahan mo na ako. Ako ay humihingi ng tawad.”

Added him, “Sa mga tagasubaybay ko, lalo na diyan sa nasulat sa PEP Talk, pasensya na ho kayo. Dala po ng opinyon lang po yung sa akin, yung nasabi ko tungkol kay Ellen Adarna.

“E, wala naman ho sana akong masamang ibig sabihin nun. Dahil sa pagmamahal ko lang po sa John en Ellen, na hindi ko alam ang mga pangyayari na naganap noong araw na iyon.

“Wala naman sa akin nagsabi kung anong nagaganap noong araw na iyon.”
