Before the news of the scheduled wedding of Congressman Toto Mangudadatu and beauty queen Sharifa Akeel, Ynez Veneracion told the press that the congressman once offered her to get married.

She said she just doesn’t want Legal Wives-like drama as she may be his fourth wife already.

Until now, Ynez prefers to live-in with her current boyfriend Julius Recto.

It’s only been almost a month since Ynez gave birth to Julius’ baby. She said it was a bit difficult for her because she had a caesarean delivery and she seemed to be having a miscarriage.

Ynez was offered by her non-showbiz boyfriend to get married, but the actress chose to settle in a live inn set up first before finally binding a legal union with him.

“Siyempre kasi… yung kasal kasi, papel lang naman ‘yan, e. Mas importante yung magsasama muna kayo para mas makilala niyo ang isa’t isa.

“Siyempre, paano kung magpakasal kayo ngayon, tapos ang ending, two to three years, maghihiwalay din kayo, di ba?

“So, sayang lang yung pang-annulment. Mahal saka ang tagal,”

In addition, Ynez admitted that she and Julius had a big age gap — she is 40 years old, and Julius is only 27.

So Ynez thinks they’d better try live-in first.

“Kasi ako naman, gusto ko siya na talaga. Ayoko na yung paiba-iba ng dyowa kung sakali,” she said.

According to Ynez, her relationship with Julius changed a lot when their baby girl, whom they named Jianna Kyler, arrived.

“Nung una siyempre, adjustment period, lalo na nung first year namin. Siyempre, palagi kami nag-aaway.

“Ngayong dumating na ang baby, nag-improve… malaki naman ang improvement.

“Dati, almost every other day, nag-aaway kami. Ngayon, once a month na lang. Saka yung mga maliliit na bagay na lang, mga sumpung-sumpong na lang.

“Malaki talaga ang nagawa ng baby sa pagsasama niyo, e. Malaking tulong talaga yung anak niyo, e.”
