Derek Ramsay, opisyal nang tinapos ang kaniyang pakikipag kaibigan kay John Estrada dahil kay Ellen Adarna

Derek Ramsey, a Kapuso actor, severed his friendship with John Estrada.

Derek stated in a new interview with talent manager and actor Ogie Diaz that John is not his enemy, but neither is he his buddy.

“Hindi ko siya kaaway. Hindi ko siya kaibigan. He’s no longer a friend of mine. I just don’t want to associate myself with John,” he said.

Explained Derek, “Magsisinungaling ako kung walang kinalaman ‘yung nangyari kay Ellen, pero ‘yon ‘yung icing on the cake. ‘Yun ang nag-push sa akin na enough is enough,”

Derek claimed that Ellen faced numerous challenges when filming her sitcom “John En Ellen” with John.

“Naramdaman niya ‘yung galit ko. I think na-understand naman ni John kung saan ako nanggaling… Marami nangyari kay Ellen sa show na iyan. But, ibigay ko kay John. He was apologetic sa mga bagay na nangyari. Pero, there were certain things na ‘di ko na puwede tanggapin,” he said.

“For me, you go on with your life, I’ll go on with my life. I wish you well, Bro,” he added.

In Ogie’s interview, Derek said that he didn’t want to jump into the issue but he said the people involved keeps on dragging him with it.

He said he was not biased in his defense of Ellen because he witnessed the production’s willingness to give 12 then cut-offs to the fiancée on June 25.

It was in exchange for Ellen’s willingness to work overtime — beyond the 12-hour working hours rule on taping — on June 24.

So when its scene ended around 1:30 p.m. on June 25, the actress decided to go home with Derek.

Derek said he couldn’t understand why even Ellen’s aloneness in the room became an issue. Ellen will only come out again when there is a scene.

“People should understand that we are in a pandemic.

“And you should also respect her wishes na pagkatapos ng eksena, rather than makipagtsikahan sa set, she wants to be safe and stay in her room.

“She doesn’t want to get sick kasi babalikan niya ang anak niya, babalikan niya ako, at babalikan niya ang magulang ko.”
