KC Concepcion has been having a blast in Malibu, as she has documented on Instagram.

The 36-year-old actress recently shared a lovely snapshot of herself taken during her visit to Geoffrey’s, a well-known Californian restaurant.

KC mentioned in her online post that she has been “signing agreements” recently and that nothing is stopping her.

However, her online post eventually caught the attention of a netizen who called her pretty but suddenly went on to comment about her body and weight.

Pretty but tumataba ka,” the netizen wrote to which KC simply replied, “Rude.”

KC’s response immediately elicited several reactions from other netizens who told the basher to mind their own business and that KC is still gorgeous no matter what.

KC AND HER “LATINA CURVES”

 

KC Concepcion has a message for her body shamers: you won’t be able to knock this Filipina down and her “Latina curves”!

The 35-year-old actress flaunted her body in an Instagram post, writing, “Making my Portuguese curves shine everyday… in case someone’s been living under a rock, curves are in, curves are NOW, curves are TIMELESS and having this ultra feminine shape?? I wouldn’t have it any other way!”

KC talked about how she was constantly criticised for not meeting the ridiculous Beauty Standards that Asian women like her are expected to meet on a daily basis, especially when she took a break from the spotlight.

“I used to get body-shamed when I went on my 3-year hiatus for not having that Asian, stick thin body (for an Asian like me), and many women like me get affected by this mentally, emotionally and physically,” she said.

Added her, “Going through a pandemic and realizing the big picture issues of the world, I realized life is to be celebrated, and enjoyed… Like, why would I choose to develop an eating disorder over losing all the extra weight healthily? Why choose to lock myself up comparing myself to everyone else, when I could be dressing up for these fire feminine hips and that booty (that some girls even pay to have by the way)? Celebrate LIFE. Tomorrow is not promised.”

 

To end her post, she said, “Serving you… a FILIPINA with LATINA CURVES. I’m here to celebrate all Filipinas who are like me.”
