Aljur Abrenica continues to promote his film with Viva Films, Nerisa, where he is with Viva’s sexy star Cindy Miranda.

Aljur addressed some members of the entertainment press at a virtual mediacon organized by his new manager Leo Dominguez this Friday, July 23.

They were strongly asked not to discuss the hot issue of their separation from Kylie Padilla, so their publicist Jun Lalin is really vigilant to counter the question that will lead to the issue of divorce.

It was just about the movie Nerisa, which is the most daring movie Aljur has made.

The actor was a bit intrigued by the press because he was in the car and traveling while in Zoom. During our huddle, he was just on a trip and he had not yet reached his destination.

So he was asked where he was going and in Fairview, Quezon City was his first answer. Press were more curious because they knew Kylie was there.

But Aljur clarified that he is going to Filinvest 2 to visit his mommy and brother Vin Abrenica.

Aljur thanked the press for understanding his silence.

He said he would speak “soon” on issues involving him. Now is not the only time.

So the press then instead followed him by the question of whether he is happy now with his showbiz career as well as the personal part of his life.

“When it comes to my personal life, it’s always been a choice to be happy.

“Choice mo pa rin kung magiging masaya ka o hindi. Para sa ikabubuti ng lahat, sa mga anak ko, lahat-lahat.

“Ano talaga… you know, I choose to be happy. Kasi, pag hindi ako maayos, hindi magiging maayos ang lahat.”
