Gretchen Barretto, usap-usapan ngayon sa social media matapos itong gawin sa kanyang anak

If there is a celebrity mom-daughter bonding goals that netizens are truly in love with, we can all agree that Gretchen Barretto and her uniica ija, Dominique Cojuangco has the best one yet.

The two trend anew as video of them bonding in a pool while fooling around circulates on social media, where Gretchen can be seen poking her daughter’s face with her elbow every now and then.

The said clip was taken during the celebration of Mother’s day, where the two would usually have a date.

But for Gretchen, how she celebrates her day is way too different from other moms.

In her interview with Metro Style together with Dom, she said that she treats her kid during Mother’s day instead of the other way around.

And the actress has some wholesome and very touching reason for that.

“I just thank her everyday for being my daughter. Well, we spent three Mother’s Day together, just the two of us in London. I would take her out on a date. I wouldn’t be a mom if not for her. And I make her go to Harrods and choose anything she wanted, because I want to celebrate her. Because I wouldn’t be a mom if not for her, and I wouldn’t feel so fulfilled if she wasn’t around. I always celebrate her.” she said.

For Dominique, despite of being an only child, spending time with her parents are still the best thing to do even if she’s already an adult.

“People always ask me what it’s like being brought up without siblings in the house, but my parents are like siblings to me; they’re like very youthful. We joke around, we hangout. I always hear people say, like, “Oh, we have family dinner.” I don’t know why it sounds like such a chore for them ’cause that gets me excited. I’m always with them. I spend all day with them.”
