Donnalyn Bartolome, nagsalita na ukol sa sabi-sabing pabaya di umano siya sa kanyang lola dahil ito ay namamalimos

After being chastised for buying a nice car while allegedly neglecting an elderly woman, Donnalyn Bartolome stood up for herself.

On Thursday, June 24, the YouTuber revealed that she had purchased her “dream” luxury car as an early birthday present to herself by posting images of its interior on her Instagram profile.

A netizen dubbed Bartolome “mayabang” (boastful) for making the purchase while unable to assist a specific “lola.”

As she recounted the scenario to her fans, Bartolome warned the netizen from making a “libelous” statement about her.

“For those confused, [two] years ago, a reckless YouTuber featured a distant relative, a lola, who I took care of and had my contact number to ask for help when she was struggling,” she recalled,

In June 25, a Facebook post in which she displayed a snapshot of a chat with a specific Mark circulated on social media. The elderly woman, according to Bartolome, used her name.

While Bartolome was able to forgive the YouTuber and the elderly woman, she claimed that the incident had a negative impact on her reputation and mental health for a year.

“That’s not why I’m triggered though, it’s the fact that because of what she (the [elderly woman]) and the YouTuber did, her relationship with her son was permanently damaged,” she added. “This was painful to bear.”

Bartolome stated that purchasing the luxury automobile was one of the rare occasions she prioritized herself, and she had waited a long time for it.

“I posted my new car that I waited to have for [eight] years and also to promote my new vlog kasi nagtatrabaho akong tao.” she wrote.

“Wala pa akong pinabayaan na mahal ko sa buong buhay ko,” she added.
