Edward Barber apologizes to his former on-screen partner, Maymay Entrata for their misunderstandings and rumors, which eventually lead to the the break up of their love pairing.

On the finale episode of the actor’s digital show “Kwentong Barber”, the two looked back on their journey as Pinoy Big Brother housemates, until they became celebrities.

The host of the Kumu show then went on, “I never asked you. I never got to talk to you about it. A lot of things that were not true were said. I never got to clear up everything with you,”

Entrata, who was visibly surprised with his statement, said that se acknowledges the actor’s struggles on dealing with rumors thrown at him.

“Pero yun nga kahit anong gawin, kahit anong sabi natin, may iba talagang hindi tumitigil,” she said.

According to her, she was fully aware about the rumors, but never did she think about confronting Edward, as she was confident that he will never do such thing.

“Ang importante ay kaming mga naniniwala sayo at kilala ka, importante na enough na yung alam namin yung totoo. Di mo na kailangan gawin pa ang mga bagay na makapagpapasaya sa ibang tao para sa approval nila,” she assured Barber.

She then asked for apology to Barber, because she failed on protecting her as a friend.

“Gusto ko rin humingi ng pasensya sayo kung hindi enough yung bilang isang kaibigan, paano kita poprotektahan. Kasi nung time na yun may hindi tayo pagkakaintindihan. Tas nangyari sa ‘yo yun. Sorry kung wala ako roon,” Maymay quipped.

But the actor was quick to assure, “You did nothing wrong. You did everything right. Even when we worked together dun sa movie, you had my back. You supported me. And thank you for that. Hindi mo alam yung weight na na-lift sa chest ko after hearing those words,” he said.
