Actress Beauty Gonzales revealed her reason as to why she left her career in Manila for the mean time to live in the province.

In her interview with PEP.ph, Beauty shared some of her realizations when her husband, Norman Crisology tested positive from COVID-19.

According to the actress, that challenge made her re-evaluate and her priorities her life, and that is no other than her family.

“Siyempre, when Norman got COVID, I realized it’s not always about chasing your dreams kasi if you reach your dreams and pag wala na ‘yong mga kasama sa importante sa buhay mo, pag hindi mo nasi-celebrate, parang ang lungkot naman,” she said.

When asked about her plans of going back to showbiz anytime soon, she revealed that she is just waiting for a good project, and she will immediately accept it.

RECENT CHALLENGE

In Instagram, Beauty once recalled facing her fears of the possibility of being a single parent to her daughter, Olivia, during Norman’s fight with COVID-19.

“The aloneness of this disease will kill the spirit even before it damages the body,

“The hardest thing for a wife to do is to just sit and wait for a sick husband to come home, not being able to be there and comfort him was against every grain in my body.

“But it was something everyone of us in this situation has had to do.”

Added her, “I spoke to God many times.

“I made promises to myself.

“I held my child often.

“I made sure that life from this day forward, no matter what happens will be filled with love and light, that all this sufferring would not be for nothing.

“But in the still of the night, i was just a girl crying alone in the middle of the night thinking things will never be the same again.”

Luckily, Norman survived and is now recovering in the province.
