Sunshine Dizon, Kumpirmadong Lumipat Ng Abs Cbn Matapos Ang Pamamalagi Sa GMA Ng 25 Taon

Sunshine Dizon officially confirms her transfer to ABS CBN after staying with GMA network for 25 years.

From the teaser released by ABS CBN for their upcoming series, Marry Me, Marry You, Sunshine was seen along with other casts, Cherry Pie Picache, Vina Morales, Jake Ejercito, and Edu Manzano.

Marry Me, Marry You is top-billed by new Kapamilya on-screen partners, Janine Gutierrez and Paulo Avelino.

According to the actress, she is very much happy to be a Kapamilya.

On the video, Cherry Pie, Vina, and Edu talked about how couples should plan their weddings well in order to make marriages last.

Cherry Pie then said in her second clip, “Welcome sa bagong kapamilya.”

Sunshine was then shown in the nextscene, saying, “Happy to be a Kapamilya,” which does not only pertain to her character in the show but also her first ever project with ABS CBN.

On the last frame, Sunshine can be seen with Janine, Vina, and Cherry Pie, with four of them shouting “Mabuhay ang bagong kasal!”

SUNSHINE AS DIRECTOR

Aside from new network, Sunshine has also moved forward with her career through directing.

Sunshine directed B&B: The Story of the Battle of Brody and Brandy, for Valentine’s Day presentation of streaming services WeTV and iFlix.

In an interview, Sushine talked about her struggles as director and how she felt embarrassed to direct Ian Veneracion, one of the main casts of the series.

“I don’t have a problem working with Iza, she’s a very dear friend of mine, si Ketchup [Eusebio], si Lovely [Abella], halos kaibigan ko lahat, e.

“Kinabahan ako kay Ian, to be honest. Sinabi ko ‘yan kay Iza.

“Sabi ko, ‘Ga, kinakabahan ako. Okey lang ba ‘yon? Parang nahihiya ako na idirek si Ian.’

“Sabi niya [Iza] sa akin, ‘No, Ian is a very smart actor. I’m sure, he would respect you.’

“‘Tapos okey naman. When I got to the set, after mga first two takes, okey na.”
