Joseph Estrada, Ginulat Ang Marami Matapos Sabihing Meron Na Naman Siyang Isang Malalang Sakit!

After his battle with COVID-9, former president Joseph Ejercito Estrada (Erap) was again rushed to the hospital because of bacterial lung infection.

According to his son, senator Jinggoy Estrada’s Facebook post, Erap had to be put in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) because of his condition.

“MEDICAL BULLETIN OF FMR. PRES. JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA:

We wish to announce that my father had a slight set back last night as his doctors found a super imposed bacterial lung infection.

He has been brought back to the regular ICU (non covid) for monitoring and support of his blood pressure which fluctuated due to the said infection.

But overall, he is stable with high flow oxygen support.

Once again, we ask for your prayers for his immediate recovery and also to all those infected with covid19.

Thank you so much.”

The senator daily keeps an update about his dad’s situation on a daily manner, and on April 18, he said that the politician is now recovering.

“MEDICAL BULLETIN OF FMR. PRES. JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA:
My father is doing better today.
His medications for blood pressure support are being lessened and his kidney function is improving.
Overall, he seems to be responding well to measures to control the lung infection.
He is still on oxygen support but continues to be alert and oriented. He still remains at the ICU for further monitoring.
Please continue to pray that his progress continues.

On his recent post last April 19, Jinggoy shares a good news about his dad’s kidney.

“MEDICAL BULLETIN OF FMR. PRES. JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA
I am thankful that my father continues to improve.
He is now off blood pressure support medicines.
His white cell count is improving as an indication that his infection is responding to the treatment.
His kidney function is also better today and his doctors are starting to decrease his oxygen support.
Again, our family would like to thank everyone for all your support and encouragement and ask to continue to pray for him.
