Maja Salvador, hindi umano pinagsisisihang umalis ng ABS CBN upang lumipat sa TV5 dahil sa bagay na ito

Despite of the sudden cancellation of her TV 5 noontime show, Sunday Noontime Live, Maja Salvador expressed no regrets of leaving her long time home network, ABS CBN for another network to be with her “tatay-tatayan” in showbiz, Johnny Manahan, “Mr. M.”

During the latter part of 2020, Maja joined Mr. M on venturing their career in TV 5.

According to Maja, Mr. M personally asked her to host SNL, which she did not hesitate to decline.

Another big celeb from Kapamilya network that Mr. M brought with him was Piolo Pascual.

Both Maja and Piolo used to be resident cast of ASAP Natin To, ABS CBN’s own Sunday Noontime Show.

In an interview, despite of the unforeseen failure of SNL, she never regretted agreeing on Mr. M’s favor.

“Lahat naman kami nagulat. But let’s just move on.

“May mga bagay tayo na hindi makokontrol po,”

Added her, “Kung anuman ang reason nila, totoo o hindi, let’s just move on. Baka hanggang dun lang talaga yung show namin.”

Upon hearing the announcement, Maja revealed that one of the things she did first was to comfort Mr. M, who was the head director of the show.

“Kinumusta ko siya kaagad, e, kasi alam ko na yun at yun ang mapi-feel niya,

“Nag-meeting kami kaagad noon, nag-video call kami kaagad nun.

“Sinabi ko, ‘Mr. M, I’m okay. I’m okay. I don’t regret anything. Yung pagsama ko sa ‘yo, no… hindi ko po ire-regret yun.’

“Yung pagso-sorry niya po, okay lang, okay ako.”

Added her, “Ang gusto ko lang pong i-secure natin, yung mga nawalan na naman po ulit ng trabaho. Yun yung pinaka-concern ko. Pero ako po, ‘wag niyong isipin because I’m super okay.”
