In a news release, ECCP said Dr. Diana Edralin, currently the General Manager of Roche Philippines, was elected President of ECCP. She brings extensive experience in healthcare with her and is the first female and Filipina president of the Chamber. The election marks a leadership transition, with ECCP President Edralin succeeding Paulo Duarte.

The outgoing Board of Directors was also thanked for its service as ECCP formally welcomed its new leadership team.

The announcement of the ECCP’s new Board comes at a time of renewed momentum in European-Philippine economic and trade relations, following the sixth round of negotiations on the EU–Philippines Free Trade Agreement (EU–PH FTA), held from 18 to 22 May 2026.

The Chamber continues to be a key partner of both the Department of Trade and Industry and the European Commission in actively advocating for the swift, balanced, and comprehensive conclusion of the EU-PH FTA to benefit the wider European-Philippine business community.

The Chamber is also closely following preparations for the upcoming EU–ASEAN Business Summit in September, which is expected to further strengthen regional trade and investment cooperation and reinforce Europe–ASEAN economic linkages.

As the largest foreign chamber in the Philippines, the ECCP continues to play a leading role in championing the European–Philippine business community amid emerging opportunities and challenges in the global economic landscape. In this context of sustained growth and evolving priorities, the incoming Board will ensure the continuity and advancement of ECCP’s core initiatives.

The ECCP is a multilateral foreign chamber that promotes European interests in the Philippines and vice versa. It has a membership organization with close to 1,000 members and a strong partnership with the government.
