Major Champions Int’l Series to debut in PH

The International Series Philippines is set for its first-ever staging at Sta. Elena Golf Club from October 23–26, 2025, bringing a star-studded field to Manila.

Leading the competition are Major champions Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, Charl Schwartzel, and Louis Oosthuizen, who will battle it out alongside the Philippines’ top golfer Miguel Tabuena, ranked among Asia’s elite.

The tournament, part of the Asian Tour’s elevated series backed by LIV Golf, offers players a direct pathway to the LIV Golf League. Beyond the action on the fairways, fans can also look forward to concerts, live music, gourmet dining, and interactive fan activities.

Watson, a two-time Masters champion, said: “This will be my first time playing in the Philippines. Golf is global, so being part of its growth in new places is exciting. I hope we can inspire the next generation of golfers here.”

Reed arrives fresh from his first LIV Golf League win in Dallas, while Schwartzel and Oosthuizen bring strong recent form. Tabuena, meanwhile, will have the crowd firmly behind him as he represents the host nation on one of golf’s biggest stages.

“This is a milestone for Philippine golf,” said Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series. “With global champions and homegrown talent competing together, fans are in for a truly special week.”

The International Series Philippines, presented by BingoPlus, represents a significant milestone for the LIV Golf-backed series.
