RCBC, SMBC Asia Rising Fund Unveil First-Ever Business Co-creation ‘Dōjō’ in PH
The future of banking is here, powered by AI and digital innovation. Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), in partnership with the SMBC Asia Rising Fund (SARF), proudly introduces Business Co-creation Dōjō in Manila (Business DOJO MNL), a groundbreaking initiative designed to identify and accelerate the most promising FinTech startups in the region.
Business DOJO MNL brings together the brightest minds in financial technology to tackle key banking challenges, including deposits, loans, loyalty, fraud prevention, digital payroll, and consumer and mSME lending. The program aims to empower visionary startups that can drive AI-powered and digital transformation in core banking processes.
Selected startups can pitch their innovations to top banking and fintech leaders, access exclusive mentorship and networking opportunities, and secure funding, strategic partnerships, and industry recognition.
Business DOJO MNL is open to FinTech startups that have at least one round of funding from VC/Financial Institutions/corporations and are looking to fundraise in 2025 or in the near future specializing in: AI & machine learning, merchant acquisition, fraud detection, core banking functions, mSME lending, digital payroll solutions, consumer lending.

Shortlisted teams will pitch their solutions live at RCBC’s Digital Enterprise & Innovation Group (DEIG) office at ATY Centre, Bonifacio Global City, on March 10, 2025.
“This initiative is more than just a competition—it’s a launchpad for FinTech disruptors who are ready to transform banking as we know it and leverage networking opportunities,” said Lito Villanueva, Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation and Inclusion Officer at RCBC, and Founding Chairman of the FinTech Alliance PH.
