LEAKIPEDIA: ‘Smog’ of Scams Envelop Pasay City

By THEPHILBIZNEWS STAFF

Beware of the alluring schemes of a scammer in Pasay City. Let’s call him “Shoke,” a man dazzled by the promise of shimerring gold.

His pitch? Ingeniously simple. Hand over ₱7.5 million, and he’ll reward you with a project valued at ₱350 million. As a token of goodwill, Shoke even offers an advance—quite generous, of course.

And as a bonus, he promises a trip to Thailand with a few other investors, all of whom have paid the same ₱7.5 million. There, you’ll receive ₱100,000 a day as spending money.
Tempting, isn’t it?

THEPHILBIZNEWS’ source wonders whether even the bank manager next door is somehow involved in this elaborate ruse.

Shoke proudly flaunts what he claims is a legitimate certificate from the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLAC), supposedly proving his ability to handle multi-million peso transactions without a hitch. Quite the convincing touch.

He also boasts of connections with nuns, local officials, and their sycophants.

But before falling for Shoke’s grandiose promises, perhaps he could first impress his guests with a strong cup of barako coffee instead of serving instant 3-in-1. Just a thought.
