LJ Reyes, emosyonal na ikinuwento ang paghihirap na dinanas niya sa break up nila ni Paolo Contis

Full of grief, LJ Reyes confessed that she and Paolo Contis broke up only this August.

The reason for their divorce is complex, but it clearly cannot be called a “mutual decision.”

“No, hindi siya mutual. Naniniwala ako kapag mutual isang decision, pareho kayong sumasang-ayon na hindi na nagwo-work yung relationship.

“Hindi po, e. Ramdam na ramdam ko naman po na ibang-iba na.

“Matagal ko na nararamdaman na nakahiwalay na siya sa amin. Ramdam na ramdam ko po yun.”

LJ admitted that, in their first conversation, she was the one who initiated their breakup.

But a few days later, during their second in-depth conversation in August, Paolo was the one who asked for the split up.

“Pero honestly, ako yung nagsabi na parang nasa ibang mundo na po siya, at parang pakiramdam ko na hinihintay lang niya na manggaling sa akin.

“Umabot sa point na nag-break na kami. Pero after a few days, na-realize ko na hindi puwedeng ganito, may mga bata.

“Nagbaba na lang ako ng pride kahit ako yung nasasaktan. Titiisin ko po yun para sa mga bata. Kasi inisip ko, baka kailangan nila ng complete family.

“Tinanong ko siya, if he wants to take us back. Pero hindi na daw.”

This is LJ’s confession during a more than an hour-long conversation with TV host Boy Abunda on August 31 (Philippine time), and aired on YouTube on September 1.

Their video interview is virtual because LJ is in New York with her two children. LJ’S “SECRET BURDEN” FOR THE PAST MONTHS is the title of he said confrontation.

LJ explained that during their six -year relationship, she loved Paolo becauses he saw his sincerity in loving him and his son Aki.

Aki is LJ’s 11-year-old son to ex-boyfriend Paulo Avelino.

LJ admitted that Paolo was a good father to Aki when they were just three, and she became even more hands-on father to Summer.

Summer is the two-year-old daughter of LJ and Paolo Contis.

Paolo also seems to be a homebody.

But according to LJ, it was “late last year” when she started noticing changes in Paolo’s behavior.

Sh said of the qualities she loved in Paolo: “Nawala yun, e.”
